A vision of a better Rwanda, built on education and commerce, is closer than ever. The people and leadership of Rwanda are striving to break the cycles of poverty, dependency and tragedy that have tormented African nations by creating an economy based on information technology. With hope and hard work, we believe that Rwanda will become the focus for Central African progress and trade, a nation populated by middle-class entrepreneurs.
The Rwanda Outreach & Community Foundation (ROC) was founded to raise much-needed funds to improve a model community called the Caisse Sociale in Rwanda’s Capitol of Kilgali. At the center of this project sit land and buildings that will hold a school, a community development center, a church and other facilities. The ROC is an Oklahoma-based, non-profit corporation dedicated to investing in people and property with a primary focus on education and community development. Our mission is to support Rwanda’s development, serve its people, and share the blessings of the Christian faith.
You can help. The Rwanda Outreach and Community Foundation is cooperating with the government to purchase this land as part of Rwandan President, Paul Kagame’s Vision 2020 project. This unique opportunity allows The ROC to establish a central location in Rwanda for education, community development and church planting in the future. Over half the funds needed to support this exciting work have already been raised. Supporting the ROC right now is a powerful step for dramatic change in the future.
The Rwanda Outreach & Community Foundation (ROC Foundation) is an Oklahoma non-profit corporation, which is tax-exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3).
